Jeff grew up in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, where he grew up playing multiple sports, including hockey, soccer, and squash. Being involved in sports as a child is where Jeff developed his passion to work in a training and rehabilitative environment focusing on athletic performance.
In 2014, Jeff graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with an honours distinction. Following this, in 2016, Jeff attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he completed a Master's degree in Science in Physical Therapy.
Outside of the clinic, Jeff serves as the Physiotherapist/Trainer for the Pinnacle Growlers AAA U18 team and the Islanders high-performance baseball program.
Since Jeff’s involvement with the Islanders 16U Baseball Club, he has been certified as a Champion Performance Specialist, allowing him to conduct Performance Assessments on athletes to identify deficits in movement, aimed at reducing the risk of injury through individualized treatment plans.
In addition, he has also virtually attended the 2020 American Sports Medical Institute’s Injuries in Baseball Conference, where he continued to learn and enhance his skills related to baseball rehabilitation.
Jeff utilizes hands-on, proven methods of treatment with many elite athletes within the province, aiding in their athletic success on the provincial, national, and international stage.
