Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focused on assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries, pain, and movement dysfunction. Through hands-on treatment, exercise therapy, education, and evidence-based rehabilitation, physiotherapists help restore function, improve mobility, manage pain, and reduce the risk of future injury.
At Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre, we take an individualized approach to care, recognizing that every patient has unique goals and needs. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, rehabilitating after surgery, or aiming to improve performance, our physiotherapists work with you to create a personalized treatment plan.
Our goal is not only to help you recover, but to provide the tools, education, and support needed to keep you active, healthy, and performing at your best long term.
Physiotherapy services are offered at both our St. John's and Paradise locations.
Physiotherapy services are widely recognized by third-party extended health insurance providers. Attain offers direct billing options through the TELUS Health eClaims portal for a variety of major insurers.
Important Insurance Considerations:
Physician Referrals:
A medical doctor's referral is not required to access Physiotherapy services. However, certain insurance policies may require a physician's prescription on file to authorize third-party billing. We recommend checking your insurance policy before your appointment to determine whether a prescription is needed for Physiotherapy coverage.
